This year we’re encouraging our accredited Golden Turkey farmers and all those looking for British locally farmed turkeys for Christmas, to get behind the NFU’s #buymyturkey social media day.
The aim of the campaign is to get this #buymyturkey hashtag trending and to encourage people to buy their Christmas turkey direct from the farm where it was produced and to help them by suggesting they use the NFU’s Turkey Finder.
Our members of the Traditional Farm-fresh Turkey Association (TFTA) and accredited Golden Turkey Farmers are passionate about producing the very best quality traditional Christmas turkeys and selling these direct to our customers.
A large proportion of our Golden Turkey farmers are listed on the NFU’s Turkey Finder and we would encourage all our accredited farmers to support the NFU’s #buymyturkey social media day, Friday 7th December, by including this hashtag in any social media posts along with suitable photographs and videos.
Some of our Golden Turkey farmers will be leading the way posting about their production of high quality and traditionally raised birds on local family farms.

Take part on social media day – Friday 7th December – with your posts of your own photos or videos which show you and/or your Golden Turkeys and / or retweeting, or reposting NFU posts.
If you’re not a turkey farmer but still want to get involved and show your support for the NFU campaign – please create your own posts or retweet posts on Friday 7th December, ensuring that you include #buymyturkey – of course!
